Fish Spot - Woodville

We were driving back home to Hastings from Wellington on 20th August 2023 and called in looking for fish and chips for lunch. We found the shop was very clean, staff friendly with great customer service. I got a piece of fresh gurnard battered and it was fresh and to die for. Batter was lovely, thin and crispy and cooking very well. Chips were cooked to perfection as was the sausage and pineapple ring. It was awesome to receive our meal in a tray and bag, rather than wrapped and squashed together in 1 parcel. It has been a very long time since we had such wonderful fish and chips. Thank you, will recommend and visit again. Great job team, you are the bomb

Yum! Thanks for the lovely fish and chips. Not greasy, right amount of salt. Got the 5 mini fish and half a scoop of chips. Great value.

I absolutely love this place and often stop in when travelling through Woodville. The food is tasty and well priced and it's handy to be able to eat in too.

10 STARS! BEST FISH AND CHIPS SHOP EVER! Popped in for lunch, had 1 battered and 1 crumbed fish and chips. Fish very fresh, shop smells clean and tidy( no yucky fish smell! Chips were fresh too. Will make it a weekly treat for sure! Fish was not oily or small....highly recommend them.

If you’re heading down for a rad trip and will pass by Woodsville, definitely a good spot to get your Fish Chips! Never had a good fish for a long time!
