Bidra med feedbackBest Spring Roll I’ve ever had! The food is delicious, fresh vegetables done perfectly.Food: 5/5
I was on my way home from work just now, and I was feeling a little jittery, because I didn't eat all of my lunch, so I knew I needed something quick, so I've been wanting to go to The Vegan Joint for some time since my family and I moved here from Chicago 2yrs ago. So I ordered a chicken burger with fries, let me just say, the service was fast and the food was DELICIOUS! Don't walk RUN to The Vegan Joint!!! Very friendly, fast, she made sure to give me a menu for more meals, and she showed me all of the deserts they have.Parking: Location and parking very accessible.
I'd usually order their garlic fries, burgers, and wraps. However, recently, whenever I'd request extra garlic sauce, they'd forget how to speak English, even when I insisted on paying extra. Despite this, I continued to dine there until I experienced a revolting incident. The lettuce in my burger carried the unpleasant odor of the restaurant. If you've been to this particular location, you know what I mean. It was repulsive, and I had no choice but to discard the burger. Now, I have come to realize that they have a sewage problem, and unfortunately, the same water is used in food preparation, so it is best to avoid this place.
The food here is incredible! We just ordered a variety of dishes for delivery since this is our first time trying this restaurant. Every dish was amazing, especially their fried chicken . This will be my new go to place!
Green curry was rich and full of tofu and veg that I liked, a generous portion, served with brown rice by default and under $13 bucks which is a great deal for a meal in LA. I loved my Thai Tea. The jackfruit BBQ Burger I took home for me mate was smashed in seconds and described thusly: Amazing. Fries were undercooked and I understand some don't like that as they don't travel well, will just ask for extra-crispy next time. Got a little cup of chili powder on the side which fit nicely with my curry. I liked that it was quiet and had the place fo myself to use their wifi and make phone calls. I enjoyed the funny character out front writing graffiti on the pole outside the window unable to see me watching through the tinted window. It's a little fun to find, go into the strip mall on the corner from Ventura and then down the ramp to the underground parking and follow the signs. Owner is a super friendly Thai Buddhist from Rayong and happy to see people enjoying vegan food.
