Bidra med feedbackWe regularly make an appearance at The Place 2b and are never disappointed. Whether it be their lovely breakfasts, or substantial lunches (including Indian curries) or just popping in for coffee, the quality of both the food and the service is excellent. It's run as a family place and has a lovely family feel to it. Only open on weekends for breakfast and lunch it is definitely worth a visit. Dog friendly, too.
Popped in for a couple of takeaway coffees. Disappointed to see owner spreading COVID misinformation and suggesting that the pandemic isn’t a significant event. It is one thing to hold these misbeliefs as a personal opinion but it’s dangerous to try and spread it through to customers of a business. Will not return.
My wife and I have just returned from a pleasant drive in the Brisbane hinterland and a nice lunch at The Place 2B Cafe/Restaurant at Delaneys Creek; a short drive from Brisbane or Redcliffe. We were made welcome, enjoyed prompt professional service and tasty meals in pleasant surroundings. From Delaneys Creek we ventured over the range to Dayboro and home from there. If you are looking for an enjoyable outing I would have no hesitation in recommending The Place 2B for lunch good service in a quiet country setting.
Out for a drive, enjoying some COVID-19 freedom, we called in for lunch. Ordered burgers they were very large, delicious, freshly prepared. Most enjoyable. Service was a bit slow, but they had a sign up to explain that they were short staffed. I’d return for sure! Good to be able to dine out support a small business.
We ate here for a second time before we left the Brisbane area. Again the food could not be faulted. I had chicken cooked in a Camembert and avocado sauce. It was fantastic. The owner was very helpful, but this time we found the girl waiting on the tables a bit off hand. We watched another table being served their food, but no cutlery provided. The girl said to the diner ' you should have picked up your cutlery when you ordered ', though she did go and collect it for the table. I think that perhaps a little more professionalism from the serving staff is needed.
