The Colonial Diner - Woodbury

My boyfriend and I went here, as it’s been our goal to find all of the best places with vegan options in our area this summer. They have a whole page of strictly vegan options with smoothies and loaded fries and all kinds of amazing entrees! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a laid back spot for late at night!

So good! Nothing really disappointed except the cornbread.

My friend and I just came from there and had the seitan poutine, cheesesteak gyro, and the bbq 'beef ' sandwich. For desert we had vegan tapioca pudding and strawberry cupcake. They also offered a chipwich and brownie that we did not get. The poutine is enough for 3-4 people. The sandwiches were of good size and very filling. The meals also came with French fries and a cup of cabbage soup. The soup was really tasty and I could have made a meal of it if it were served in a bucket. My friend had a glass of vegan wine. They have a few varieties of vegan wine. The server was wonderful, and the person who I believe is the owner was very nice answering our questions. I am so glad there is a place relatively close by with a variety of good vegan food.

We ordered the seitan poutine and the setain wings. A lot of care was clearly put into making the food, and there's quite a bit of food for the money.

This diner has the biggest selection of vegan options I have seen in the area! So much to choose from, includes vegan soup or salad a vegan dessert. Every time I come here, they are so nice the food is awesome. Never had an issue! Love it!
