I had a bad experience at this location, where the man at the counter responsible for taking orders and handling the bill was using toothpicks, extremely poor hygiene practices, putting his fingers in his mouth and touching my food. When I tried to let him know this, he scolded and mocked me, blatantly telling me that if I didn't like it, I shouldn't have the food. Of course, I left the place. It was absolutely disgusting and incredibly rude. I really wonder how they are still in business. I had a delicious accapuria made to order and it was nice and hot. I also had a chicken empanada but that was not made fresh,so it was not hot and was not very appealing. I also order chicken,rice,beans,sweet plantain,salad with avocado and a Malta. Everything came out to $30 bucks and it was more than enough food to share. Good spot, I will be back.

I Honestly Love This Restaurant!! The Food Is Amazing and The Staff Is Even BETTER! So Respectful and Kind. THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SPANISH SPOTS TO EAT AT!

Whoever gave this place a 5 star is LYING! Tiny, dingy and the server isn’t so friendly. Food was dry and 12 bucks for a lunch is crazy.. never again. They close super early also, just go to Perth Amboy!
