Mbok Berek Fried Chicken - Wonosari

There for lunch with the family. I heard a lot about the famous Kalasan chicken, so I really wanted to try. The place itself is clean, although it is not that big. The food is excellent, the chicken is just like what I expected. It is juicy, well seasoned and the crispy topping adds something nice crunchy. Other supplements we ordered also tasted good (cah kangkung and gudeg Jogja). The price was reasonable. The only thing that didn't meet my taste is that the Sambal is too sweet, not sharp enough. But for the whole experience I was happy to eat here.

Average place and serving.. the taste also just ordinary nothing special unlike mbok berek's fried chicken taste, but the price was extraordinary high.

I have never review any food in my life. But this one just need it. The chicken is tasteless, very difficult to bite. And also very pricey compare to it's taste. This is absolutely the worst fried chicken I have ever ate in my life. If you are on your way from Jogja to Solo, I suggest you to skip this one, didnt worth your time and money.

The chicken is very juicy and tasty, little expensive but totally worth it the real taste
