Bidra med feedbackPopped in here for a quick drink prior to a gig at KK’s Steel Mill last week. It was pretty busy when we visited which I assume is due to how close it is to the venue. Drinks were fine but can’t comment on the quality of the food. Good atmosphere and the food that we did see looked nice.
We've visited Jacks on our last two visits to Wolverhampton, The proximity to local venues KK's Steel Mill and The Hanger make this a prefect place to eat before shows and events, The food is a mixture of various menus of Currys, Pizza's and English dishes, First visit we had the basics, Burger, Chips and coke, Second visit we arrived on a busy day and they found us seats for 5 with no hassle, The Large Sizzler Mixed Grill and Beer went down great (gonna need two people to eat it hahaha) Thanks for the warm welcome guys!!!
I did write a long winded review about the rudeness of the so called female manager at front of house however I got asked to re word it by TripAdvisor , in simple terms she is rude and aggressive and doesn't care for your business . Good bye jaks ,ashame it used to be good.
I’ve been coming to this place regularly for many years now but never took the time to write up a review! After doing my own fresh regular cooking their isn’t many places around Wolverhampton that I can say I would go back their and eat . Jacks bar is a very friendly lively place , no matter what time of day me and my children , friends or family go their it is always very busy and they always great us with a smile and find room for us not just us I see they do this to everyone they always make us feel welcome and valued as a customer . The food is definitely worth coming back for we mainly sit for breakfast is really well portioned , cooked to how ever you wished it to be cooked and bought out to you with a smile .it is a very busy place and the staff are always back and forth with orders coming out every second , I could honestly say you won’t get a better English or Indian breakfast paratha are the best ones I’ve had for miles and the size of them has you filled up for the rest of the day any where in Wolverhampton ! The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasing time every time you go their . So if you are looking to fill your tum for a good quality reasonably fair price then this is a definite place to come either on your own or with your family and friends you won’t be disappointed. Great team and all deserve an award for quality and service. 5 out of 5 .
We had an Indian breakfast which was very nice although the Indian tea was the worst I have ever paid for which is why I have given this a 3 and not a 4. The staff were friendly and quick and pleasant. This was recommended to me by friends locally so decided to visit for breakfast one Saturday. Its in an area that cant have much footfall, surrounded by industrial units, but in spite of this, the place is very busy. The decor is something out of the 70s, with awful fluorescent lights, fruit machines and huge TVs. Not quite a sports bar, but odd and in need of refurbishment.
