Volare - Wixom

Nothing the restaurant did necessarily but I really didn't appreciate the table next to us with the child watching tv loudly while we ate. If they could have taken their kid to McDonalds or hired a babysitter. If I'm paying $100 for a meal I deserve to enjoy my meal with your kid's phone blaring. We had a new server, Victoria, who did an excellent job. We came in while the restaurant was getting busy so she didn't know she had our table but after she got us she did great.

The food was excellent as usual. Our server was very friendly but I think she had too many tables and the tables were spread out all over the restaurant, so the service was really slow. The table was a nice size for 3 but the chairs are really uncomfortable for sitting at a table for 2.5 hours (we usually sit in a booth).

Sitting outside was important for us due to the noise level inside. The menu looked great but the food was mediocre. Two of us had fish, and one was overcooked when other was under-cooked. Bolognese sauce was not the slow long cooked sauce expected. Had to ask 3 times for silverware. We expected better from previous reviews.

It is an upscale restaurant, with upscale pricing only. The wine list was among the highest price I have seen. The menu offering was limited and well above market price. The entrees lacked flavor and was served with a limp bunch of greens. After being seated we waited at least 15 min before the server showed up. All in all we were disappointed

Tough to do business with via phone, thus haven't a clue about what youay find, uhh!!
