Pizzeria Lido Lutherstadt Wittenberg

There was only one family and me in the restaurant and the service was extremely slow. Never got refill and my order came out at vastly different times, for even Germany this was slow.

We chose to sit down and eat a leisurely supper at Lido's. We ordered stromboli and a pizza. The sauces were delicious, very fresh tasting. There was not as much cheese as on an American pizza, but it was delicious. We also ordered local light...amber beer with our meal, recommended by our waiter which was very good.

This place was conveniently located across from our hotel. The pizza was OK. Seating was limited and the service was decent. No still water was available, which I know is normal in Europe, but just putting it down here for those used to getting still...water at meals.

Only had about minutes and they made a great hand thrown crust fresh tomato sauce and pizza. Small place, but good food.
