The Rodney Inn - Witham

After a walk at Paper mill lock, we headed up the road to find this pub. It's a lovely looking pub set in a big garden. Inside is even more impressive with beams and low ceilings. We were met by a friendly landlord and lots of locals. It's a cosy little space around the bar, so we jostled in and chose drinks. At least the ales on tap, lots of other beers and ciders. Their speciality seems to be a Vodka list that takes up a full page of A4. The beers were lovely, plus the selection of crisps and Scratchings kept us all happy. A very pleasant way to spend an hour on Saturday afternoon. We'll definitely be going back. Parking: Loads of parking and space for getting in and out of the place. Big entrance off the road. Kid-friendliness: Colouring sheets which the kids enjoyed.
