Cross Keys White Notley - Witham

On the website there were a few menus, Pizza, lunch and Al ‘acarte. When we got the menus it was very limited, not much choice for my group. There was no specials as stated on the website. They employ someone to design the website!!. My prawn cocktail consisted of prawn in a seafood sauce and lettuce, no other salad and no brown bread. The soup didn’t come with bread! The beetroot salad was very oily. There is no atmosphere in the pub and the customer service is a lot to be desired. The website needs updating, it’s misleading as so many items were not on the Easter menu. If I had known about the menu I would not have booked a table. I will not be returning.!

Great friendly village pub! The staff are lovely and attentive. Great selection of food and drink, the fish finger sandwich is superb. Quite a lot of parking onsite. Just an all round fab pub.

Lovely little country pub that was a welcome pit stop on a long walk. Friendly staff who were happy to chat. We only had a snack, but the homemade sausage rolls were very good and the food is reasonably priced. Will look forward to calling by again. Thanks.

Always come here with my parents as a regular treat and have never been disappointed, lovely food and staff and all reasonably priced

Lovely little pub, food was excellent! Good selection of drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again.
