Kulinarischer Bahnhof Lukas

I went here for wines after a nice walk along Lake Baldeney. The place is in a restored train station and serves wines and food. I cannot comment on the food because I didn't sample any. THe wines list is imressive and I had a very good Puglian Red upon recommendation of the owner. The place has a friendly atmosphere and I will definitely try it out for dinner on the next occasion.

Nice location , you can eat inside and outside if sunny and warm, regularly updated daily specials BUT not really motivated and. Interested waiters. Too many stundent type of personell. Can be improved

Lukas is a really cool spot in Essen just 50m walking distance to the lake Baldeney. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The location itself is an old train station and really impressive. You can really have a great party down here. The biergarten is nice and a good place to meet with friends. Service in the biergarten is not always the fastest.

The building is an old historical train station. We have had brunch sometimes and everything was always good. Parking space is very close. Also the Lake Baldeney is very close.
