The food was a katrastrofe.The salad consisted of counted iceberg leaves,2 cucumbers and a quarter of tomato without dressing.My wife had a senior dish for 19,90 €.The piece of meat has about 50 grams.A naughty.

Restaurant in a beautiful location in front of the ruin of the castle Altendorf above the nearby Ruhr. You sit comfortably on a large outdoor terrace. Kitchen is well civic, the service attentive and friendly, small requests for change are happy to be met. Price/performance is really good.

We stayed with a Groupon voucher on Saturday, 17.09.22. The salad was okay. It was. The carving was rather small and very thin (0.5cm) had no connection to the panade. The sauce gypsy type was ok but the paprika was cut in rectangles about 6x3CM. Tastefully naja. The highlight was the dessert. An ice cream with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Not only that tasted similar to all varieties, it was also very tough. Nice also the big advertising board at the entrance: from 14 o'clock delicious waffles.... at the neighboring table wanted to order a guest waffles... Not today

We were after a long time as couple, once again in the Burgfreund and were pleasantly surprised. All very delicious and the Cevapcici and rice were really great. The waitress was very friendly. We'll be back with certainty.
