The restaurant is only a few minutes walk from the main station, is spacious and well aired. The food is expertly cooked and prepared. Not too much salt :-) The daily menu is particularly good value. Service prompt and friendly.

We came just for some drinks during the morning. Service was very friendly and attentive. Coffee and cappuccini tasted great.

We wanted to enjoy a pre-theater-meal, so sitting down in the same building was a decision made out of comfort. The ambiance is really nice, held in orange/peach, and the setting on the table looked quite beautiful, the waiter escorted us to the table and we could order drinks right away – so far, so good. What made this review loose two points was the menu, although it was a small, mostly seasonal selection. A seasonal main course (deer) was priced with 52 Swiss Francs, an extraordinary price for the city. I had to work around this and a few other overpriced courses, and went with a traditional dish; Bratwurst & Rösti ( a fried sausage and kind of fried ruffled potatoes). Still 25 Francs but rather delicious. Skipped starter & dessert.

Very good food, excellent choice, very well cooked. Professional and discreet service - also wonderful! If you can sit outside in summer, it's even better.

The splendid garden restaurant under shadowing trees in the heart of the busy old town turns light summer menues into a delight. Inside the seasonal menues accompanied by professionally selected wines served by a young and attentive staff aks to be topped with a nice drink at the nearby bar.
