Bidra med feedbackIf i can give them 10 stars i will... we had our daughters 18th debutante ball and i have to get the best caterer around... they did not disappoint ... day 1 when i went to there office victoria was very accommodating and very professional... and thru out the event , they accommodated all my requests.... during the event itself there on time .... the servers was very good and very impressive ... now the good part ... the food was so good .... tri- tip , salmon and the vegetable lasagna was out of thus world... my friends was saying the food melts in the mouth good... and victoria came to check out if everything as planned ... best cathering
So disappointed, thought this was going to be a nice experience, Outdoor seating comes with fly infestation over eating areas, clean your own table before and after you eat. Food served on paper plates and plastic silverware. No service at all. Food was expensive with the service of a burger king minus the flies. Buy your ow water bottles. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Very expensive
Worst customer service for such a staple in Winters... we arrived for our reservation which we made days in advanced and asked to be seated inside. Upon arrival we were told that they had no tables available but that she would get us seated as soon as possible. We then were called and told that she already pre assigned tables and that we would have to sit out side because she wasn't going to rearrange the seating chart. I'm so sorry but we asked for indoor seating along with our reservation so I don't understand the disconnect. I then reminded her that we requested indoor seating and that a couple just walked out from an indoor spot she again said oh well I won't be changing the seating. I then stated we would find somewhere else to eat and walked away and the hose began pointing and loudly stating did you hear that he was mad we didn't put them inside.. and the manager told her to stand her ground and it didn't matter what request was made on our reservation.. Are we kidding?!??! I have a skin condition where I can't sit on your unshaded street to enjoy my dinner I apologize if You can't accommodate your guests even after two days ago the hostess stayed she would ensure our table was inside.... Avoid this place at all cost.
My company attempted to hire Buckhorn catering to cater a client lunch, but after several attempts to even get a response I looked elsewhere. After reading the other negative reviews, it pretty clear to me that the catering staff needs to work on responding to inquiries. It's mid January; I shouldn't have to follow up with 4 phone calls and emails in order to get an answer on whether or not you're available on a Tuesday afternoon. I'm really put off that it would take so long to get a response. We chose Buckhorn for the obvious reasons great track record with food and well known establishment in Yolo County, but when every other catering company in the area can answer their phone and get a bid/proposal to me within 30 minutes why would I ever choose Buckhorn over these other options? Super disappointed. Buckhorn, your catering team is bringing your business down because I will never again eat in the restaurant after this experience and reading others' experiences. Tip: Negative word of mouth travels 10x faster than positive does.
After some initial hiccups in communication, I hired Buckhorn to cater a family dinner for 22. They did a great job, food was delicious, and the staff was very helpful. I also thought it was a good value for the money.
