The Ditch On 40 - Winter Park

Guy at the door scared the sh*t out of us told us we better not be in a hurry and told our kids they better not modify his burger. Best guy ever. Found out later he is the owner. Yes we slammed beers together. Our server, Katherine, was the best! Took great care of us, kept the beers and margs flowing. But the food, can we talk about the food? SO DAMN GOOD. If you want a laid back, fun night with amazing food, come here. Don't even mess around in WP, the Ditch is where you want to be.

I frequent winter park and I'm ashamed how long it took me to try this place. I was very pleased with everything they had to offer. Our server was animated and friendly. I got the chicken sandwich as a wrap and it hit the spot. My mom got a burger and onion rings both were tasty. My Moscow mule was on point as well. I will def be coming back here any chance I can.

I come to Winter Park often and decided to come here after a couple drinks in a nearby area. The environment was fun and lively. Our server was very nice, prompt, and consistently checking in on us. the only complaint I had was that it was a little smoky but the server was nice enough to open some doors to air out the room. We ended up getting the fish tacos and the ditch burger, all the way style. I didn't get to try the fish tacos but my boyfriend enjoyed it and said it was very good and had a good kick to it. I have to give props to the ditch burger for being unique having hatch green chili in the burger which is the main reason why I wanted to try it. I thought it would be spicy but it was not spicy at all which I was okay with. The burger was pretty average and would say its quality was almost comparable to a fast food burger. For a burger like that it's pretty pricey. If you're looking for more of a restaurant burger, this is not the place. Like any ski town, you are paying for the location and the lively environment.

We ate here everyday of our trip and loved everything we had! Top pick of the group was the ditch burger . Other favorites were the rubeno and the sliders! Get the won ton appetizer as well. The kids in our group said this is their new favorite restaurant! The waitstaff is a fun and attentive group and made the experience fun for everyone. Oh, definitely have their spicy margaritas... chefs kiss... best beverage in town.

The Ditch is a long time WP stalwart run by locals. They've been in various locations in the valley over the years. Just as good as ever go have some awesome drinks, great food and get yourself some local color. This is classic WP, go get yourself some.
