Park Station - Winter Park

The food was excellent. The menu had something for everyone and the restaurant was very flexible with substitutions of any ingredients. Service was friendly and efficient without hovering. We were surprised we hadn't found such a great place sooner.

The menu has been reduced recently. We were looking forward to a few things we had the previous visit and none of it was still available. Bummer.

Warm wine, wrong drinks served, daughters burger wasn't cooked at all. Limited menu options. We were 15 too late for lunch and they couldn't make a grilled cheese for my son. Wanted to love this place. The waiter was very apologetic. Maybe I will try it for brunch.. But probably not

A friend and I made reservations for breakfast, even though it was for 8:30 am, on a Saturday in Winter Park you never know how crowded it will be. We ended up being the only ones there for a good 30 minutes or so (probably had something to do with how cold it was, and the fact that there was a 5k race going on right down Park Ave). The interior is warm and inviting; the Edison bulb light fixtures are a nice touch. While we sat inside on account of the chilly weather, they do have tables set up on the sidewalk that would be great to take in Park Ave. Our server was very pleasant and attentive, as was the other staff. I ordered the vegetable omelette, with a side of grits and toast. The omelette was great, huge portion size. The grits had a very different consistency than what I am used to; they were good, just different. All in all, a very good experience. I will have to come back for lunch or dinner!

I was surprised to see previous reviews commenting on the medioricy of the of the food. The lobster ravioli was packed with lobster, crabs and scallops. It was very flavorful and filling. I would definitely order again. My companion also enjoyed his burger. Will dine again!
