Bovine Steakhouse - Winter Park

Excellent place for a wonderful evening meal and a relaxing with dear friends.

Overcooked steak and three of four guests have magentune

We love bovine! quality steaks and drinks. the sides are all wonderful - the salt roasted fries and the flower cauliflower au gratin are both one must! and more importantly, we love molly! we come over two years and she has become like family. great experience around.

Waited about an hour, the table only got water and one round of drinks, one of which we had to wait about 30 minutes after the order to get. The restaurant was about 1/3 total occupied, with 5 tables (including ours) split between two wait staff. Waiter did not come around and take our order. Instead of dining, we paid for the drinks we got and left.

They are understaffed like many restaurants. Our waiter did his best but the food didn’t come for over 1.5 hours and it was cold. The cauliflower steak was just a bunch of cauliflower and not a cut of the whole head as expected. The crab cake, while large, was too sweet and a bit fishy. The steak was good but again, not super warm. They did take 20% off which was a nice gesture. We tipped on the whole bill as again, not the waiter’s fault.
