Sandy's Castle At The Beach Retreat

Stayed at this resort for 10 days , morning staff is great , dinner staff is trash , horrible, food is disgusting ?….. water is tap water , sweet tea tastes like it was a week old , steak had absolutely no flavored drenched is oil , so gross , hamburger super greasy no flavor in the meat , only thing I liked there was Cuban sandwich smh

Are there twice for the breakfast buffet. Extremely busy and crowded. It's not actually a breakfast buffet! The server brought a platter to our table, as my family has varying dietary needs I asked for other things that were not on the standard buffet and our server was so visibly frustrated every time I asked him to get something. I would have loved to have gotten it myself but like I said it's not a buffet your server has to bring every single thing to you whether that is jelly, ketchup, sugar, tea, etc. The next day I ordered to go so I wouldn't have to deal with it an overstressed overworked server and they forgot close to half of what I asked for up front. I just felt like I was bothering everybody. If it's their design that it's not a buffet and you're still tipping the server, the server shouldn't roll their eyes at you when you ask for jelly to put on your biscuit or what kind of cereals they have for your kid.

This was a terrible experience. If I could give it a rating of 0.2 stars, I would. I spent a lot of money at this resort only to be served watered-down pasta. The negative reviews were accurate.

Rose was a doll we had her for breakfast as well...only good thing about that place was her Sandy's does not offer non pork products which I thought was not right also they advertise they do dinner but you can't take away dinner you have to take away from their lunch menu...which sucked and it was limited order..I was forced to go eat it there not wanting to and what I didn't finish I took it with me back.. like seriously ?The amores fireplace was a joke they said it stared at 700pm by 700pm no one came with no explanation...they need to get there act together

The breakfast at this restaurant is great, served family-style. The only con is the 20-30 minute wait to be seated for breakfast, especially around 8:00am.
