The place has beautiful looking glass decorations. It is very busy, sometimes you need to wait a lot to get a table when you go during a busy day like Sunday afternoon. You can have nuggets, pommes, plantains, ice cream. The ice machine is broken and they have a bag on the dispenser so it does not drip, but they still have it on use.
Food was decent, I enjoyed her chicken wings. You also have Mongolian bbq. It's not the biggest buffet selection I've seen, but it has a bit for everyone. We checked the bathroom, it was only wet, but overall clean, staff is quite friendly. Our experience differs from what others have complained. I thought I should publish a review for a more balanced report.
Two times stopped while in winston for the panthers game; Saturday was the midday buffet great! fresh, many options, even for our picky teens who managed to eat enough to nap, price was on point with all the others I was 've. we were at one who seemed a decent enough time for the lunch break to trick and eat to get out of the kitchen hot and ready. tonight, Monday at 9 a.m., half an hour before the conclusion, I stopped to pick up something, as the rest of the family ate without me. while weighing the recording by the pound, reading expensive, it was surprisingly hot and fresh and almost everything was still available. the only thing that I have touched the stars was the terrible rude owner; I am presuming that he was of the kind he was working with and customers alike. I work for two different fortune 500 companies and we did not come there by capturing our customer relationships, someone must train him through a etiquette. I personally have a habit of never relocating where I am treated like dirt after I give them my money. they were not dirty, dirty or rude people themselves. we have politely thanked many and I almost wanted to convince myself of a language barrier problem until he came by the phone. the rest of the staff was excellent, smiling and friendly both paints. the owner has only one holier than you complex that will cost him for a long time and the business will repeat, especially in the service industry where a smile goes a long way.
I've been there before and it was okay, but it just wasn't very good today. Especially for $10. Even the pickled ginger for the sushi didn't taste right. One person seated me and there was a drink on the table when I came back to my plate. Then another person brought me the check, but she was polite and said thank you and something else nice. No refill on the drink. The gentleman working the register didn't even really look up to say thank you or ask how the meal was. He just took my money and gave me my change back. The vegetables and I tried, the green beans and the leeks, we're fine and so were the fried chicken wings. But the other items, especially the sushi, just weren't as good as they were the last time I was there.
The taste variety of the food was good but most of the staff tasked with customer service did NOT speak or understand enough english to effectively serve customers! TWO waitresses could not understand or answer our basic questions. And our waitress obviously thought her only responsibility was to clear our plates and bring the bill not give us menus, take our orders to be sure if we wanted buffets or menu orders, not check on us, refresh our drinks, etc. I had to ask twice who where my waitress was and could she come over. Actually, the hostess was probably the ONLY person who understood everything we were saying 1 waitress had to get her for us. And the 2 waitresses misquoted prices to us. So she did not have basic familiarity w/ the menu well actually, the buffet price was not even on the menu! Even the sweet man at the register didn't seem to understand all that we said. Also, a 92.5 sanitation grade is kinda low for me. I was afraid to ask to see the report because I was starved. Overall, my score deduction is based MOSTLY on customer service! I'm not sure if I'll rush to come back anytime soon or not. But again the food itself was tasty. THIS score is 2.5 stars. I'd prefer much better customer service and to see some of the raw meats on the hibachi bar to look more frozen I was afraid to get some of my faves because I could not tell if they were cold enough. I think the owner needs to consider training staff better on customer service.
