Bidra med feedbackBeautiful pub, simply considered a fast drink after a hard walk in the oppositely great sitting area in the free. the menu looked good, loading free parking around the back.
We came for our best friend's Golden Wedding and had a fabulous meal and great service. Thank you Amy. Such a lovely pub! Xx
We checked in here it was quick and easy, staff were really nice and helpful. The room was a great size with a nice big bathroom, our only couple of downsides were there is no USB ports and I think in this day and age it would have and that the kettle was horrible inside. On the plus though there is a fridge in the room and biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities. Food from the restaurant was amazing and not a bad price we had starters each, a main each and a couple of ciders and it was about £55.00. There is a pub below so don't expect it to quiet while the pub is still open. All in all wss a great stay and would stay and eat again. If you are doing the Thatchers tour this is really close about a 50 minute walk 4 minute drive or there is a bus across the road just make sure you check the times, getting a taxi seemed impossible on a Saturday for some reason.
I enjoyed a most delicious lunch here with my cousin. It was quiet enough to have a good chat and the food was excellent. I had turkey (really succulent with all the trimmings and plenty of veg, followed by poached pear and a Marshfield vegan ice cream. Yummy, very good service, friendly staff and very reasonable prices.
I went to this pub last Sunday with my partner, and we were very pleased with the Sunday specials we ordered. The atmosphere was lovely, making it a great spot to gather with family or friends for drinks. We definitely plan to go back!
