Rocco’s Pizza - Winona

I'll never know what the food tastes like, we walked in the door and the staff appeared to be angry at our presence. We then asked if we should find a seat or place an order. We were told to have a seat. Right after that 3 other customers came in and ordered ahead of us. The one of the staff took 2 phone orders and the other staff were just standing there.We got up and left. Ridiculous.

In surprised this place is still open. You can't tell from outside the building. The pizza is good, but the aesthetics of the restaurant are simply non existent. Paper plates, no wall art, church tables, and so forth. At least that is what we experienced last time there. I'm sure they are trying to keep overhead costs low, but at least make the outside look like it it an active restaurant. It couldn't hurt.

Service was very good. Friendly and attentive. Pizza was vey good. We normally like a thinner crust, but the taste was very good. The beer could've been colder.

Rocco's Pizza is one of Winona's hidden, local gems! In my opinion, one of the BEST pizza joints in town!The new location has nice ambiance, is spacious, and old-school vibes.You will not regret the visit ?Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant.

Every time we visit Winona we have to have Rocco's Pizza !!!
