Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant felt like an Italian men's club, with only male patrons dining there. Many men returned to play cards and enjoy an espresso. I was glad we weren't on a romantic date. The food was satisfactory, but it lacked in other areas.
The salad that came out was soaked and limp, with browning lettuce dressed in a heavy amount of salt, oil, and vinegar. The pasta was undercooked and the chicken was over-boiled, topped with a light sprinkle of cheese. Despite the disappointing meal, we were offered free shots at the end of our dinner. We later found out that the restaurant is a local hangout for Italian men who gather to play cards, smoke, and drink at the back of the restaurant. Overall, our experience was not satisfactory and we do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.
We visited this restaurant in the summer and had a pleasant dining experience. However, our most recent visit felt like entering the twilight zone. The atmosphere was a bit intimidating, with rough-looking individuals playing cards and drinking at the tables. Luckily, we were dining with a group or we might have left. The food was average and service was slow. The chef came out to apologize for the delay. We were given a complimentary cheesecake due to the long wait. Overall, we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
This is the first badest restaurant I've ever visited in my life. The waitress who served us (black curly hair) was rude and smells like cigarette smoke. At one point she was swearing on the phone and screaming who was ever at the other end. The restaurant itself was not very clean and had a funny smell. We ordered Calamari (as when eating rubber bands) lasagna (which was ok, but had to send back because it was cold in the middle) my girlfriend ordered a kind of pasta and had to send them back because the noodles were barely cooked. A few glasses of wine and dry Tiramisu. All this was too expensive and food I don't feed my dog. Stop!
The decor has a nice airy feel but incomplete as the floor was painted cement which was dirty/stained. Washroom (Ladies) was clean. There were 6 in our party. The waitress (sorry, have forgotten her name, but has long blonde hair) was really friendly, polite, with...fast service knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered chicken parm but was disappointed with the flavour or more correctly, lack thereof. The sauce is a bright, unusually bright shade of red and was tangy but bland. There were no peppers or onions, mushrooms or anything else that I could see that would help enhance the flavour. It was a fair size portion served with a small quantity of penne. There is no soup or salad included with the entree. We waited about 20 mins or so for our meals to be served.
