Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a welcoming pub with a great ambiance. The Sunday roast is well presented with a variety of side dishes and condiments. The manager, Tess, is lively and hospitable, making guests feel very welcome. There is a choice of both traditional and creative menu items. There is also a bar area where you can order small bites. The outdoor terrace offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
The staff is very helpful, especially the lively Tess. The selection of appetizers could be improved, but everything else was in order. The ribs are good, but could be more varied with better cuts of meat, thinly sliced vegetables, and well-cooked. The south terrace is beautiful with views of the park.
That's a wonderful pub hidden on a back track. it has a man and a woman who runs it, and they can say that it is her pub from the attentive service and welcome. the tables were well spaced the doombar bitter was perfect. then we had a burger and chips, and a pig bell with maic. both were delicious and the better that they were cooked to the house and made fresh. when the cook came to check everything was ok we had nothing but good things to say, from the perfectly cooked traditional chips to the bouncy cracker. the portions are enormous, so we had no place for one dessert. we are pleased that the dinge will come back to something that is normal after the lock-off, and we will definitely go back.
My wife and I were out walking the dog and we were on our way back to our accommodation when we were passed the Union Inn. We decided to go in for a beer as it is another of the dog friendly pubs we have...discovered in the Windsor Area. My Wife looked at the menu whilst the beer was getting pulled.,made choices for both of us . The Sandwiches were large and tasty, with the biggest homemade chips I have ever seen.
Grateful for arranging a vegan option of vegetable chilli today . Enjoyed the company and the pleasant staff.
