Two Shepherds Winery - Windsor

Two Shepherds Winery is one of my favorite spots for wine tasting. Their selection of natural, low-intervention wines offers something for everyone. You'll find unique varietals here that you won’t come across at your local store, so be ready to take home more than one bottle. These wines showcase a Rhone influence and feature a crisp, clean finish. The tasting experience is genuine, allowing for a one-on-one interaction with winemaker William and his partner, Karen, in a relaxed outdoor setting on their estate. Their wines are refined, food-friendly, and effortless to enjoy—think of the best California offerings, but without the Napa price tag and pretentiousness. William and Karen are wonderful hosts, eager to show you around their farm and introduce you to their charming animals. Note that there’s no food served; my star rating reflects the quality of the wine alone.

You can expect an authentic tasting experience with winemaker William and his partner Karen, set outdoors in a relaxed atmosphere. Their wines are excellent with food, easy to enjoy, and offer the best of California without the high prices and pretentiousness of Napa. William and Karen are wonderful hosts, happy to give you a tour of their farm and introduce you to their charming animals. While no food is served, my main focus is on the fantastic wine.
