Asa’s Winsted Diner - Winchester

Waitress was on her first day, so took forever to be served. Fortunately, the food and coffee were delicious so we hope to return to upgrade the review to 5 stars with better service in the future. Stuffed waffles were amazing and unique, please give them a try.

I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is delicious, parking is pretty good, and on nice days, there's a lovely deck to sit on.

We love this place so much. Did you know Asa makes his own pasta and bread? Even the hotdog buns are home made. Best meatballs in the state of Connecticut.

Save your money. The only good thing about my breakfast was the coffee. Service was awful and food was just okay and nothing to rave about. We waited a long time and our food was just a step above warm.

Our family of 6 stopped in 4 late breaky, the place is clean, the folks were very welcoming. The waitress was happy patient w/all of us deciding. The stuffed waffles are Amazing. I had cheese omelet my plate was full. Wonderful place they kept my coffee filled.???????????? Parking: No worries 4 parking
