Bidra med feedbackI was recommended to come here from a friend who said I could not miss it. I was actually planning on going to Voyager Estate for lunch, but my friend was so insistent for me to come here I gave in and popped in on the way back to Perth. And I am so glad I did! Arriving on a Monday at 1:00pm and dining solo, it was pretty quiet with only one other table of five. I was recommended the Chef’s Table with matching wines. A three course meal that was sourced from local ingredients was absolutely amazing. It was better than a lot of the top restaurants in Melbourne, with fantastic presentation and every mouthful just so flavoursome. First course was salmon sashimi and saffron and apple....read more
Came here after a recommendation from a nearby winery, getting lucky with a phone reservation ten minutes prior to arriving. Definitely book in advance if you are planning to be in the area. The atmosphere and service at Knee Deep is fantastic, as you walk through the entryway of fresh produce and into the open plan dining room. Beautiful little restaurant in the middle of the Margaret River. Great value for money. We had the chefs surprise tasting menu and weren't disappointed. The dishes were creative and the presentation was perfect. Obviously the wines were great too!
Loved the food here. Even the ashy bread at the start was amazing. Has the char Sui pork and it was perfectly balanced. But the best was the dessert. There was a delish fried parfait with strawberries, popcorn caramel. AMAZING!!
I was here for a wedding a little while ago and remember how delicious the food was and the excellent service. Each course was paired with a wine and with seven courses, it was a very merry occasion. The waitresses were nice enough to sneak in a few extra glasses of wine too suggesting they know how to keep customers happy. The event was beautiful; I was impressed by the impeccable service and delicious food. The atmosphere was warm, elegant and charming.
