New South Bbq - Wilson

The food is great, to me. I’ve only had the chicken plate with sides but it does not disappoint. The portions are great, seasoning on point and the service is amazing. I’m extremely critical of places I eat, especially if I feel I could have done better myself. Zero complaints from me. I love it here!

Found this place by googling BBQ on a trip down 95 and decided that the reviews looked legit. And oh my lord it is good. The reviews are absolutely legit. Absolutely worth the detour off of 95, it's a small local joint with a gregarious and charming owner and they make an AMAZING pulled pork sandwich and the yams are incredible!

All I can say is Wow... My boss ordered me and my department lunch and we all can't stop talking about it. The sauce is second to none, unbelievable flavor, little sweet, little hot. The brisket falls apart on your fork, the pulled pork is perfectly cooked. On top of that, the two working were very nice and helpful. The store was very clean and well kept. I don't have a single complaint, and that food definitely goes on my top meals of my life. Absolutely incredible BBQ.

You will be pleased as punch choosing New South BBQ! The best BBQ in North Carolina, hands down no one can compete. You will be smacking your lips and wanting more. Just go already and have good homemade BBQ. Your mouth will thank you!!!
