Bidra med feedbackUpscale Italian dining with a unique atmosphere. Pasta is incredibly fresh with a diverse set of options. Cocktail menu is quite flavorful. Venue feels cozy with split at the entrance between bar high tops and standard tables. If you want something out of the ordinary with an elevated menu this is a great spot.
Great casual Italian. Enjoyed our dishes. Service was excellent.
Very good food and cooked perfectly. I had a chicken sandwich and it was great... Quality meats, seasoned great and not over cooked. And the tots are light and tasty as well. My wife had a great cheese salad. Two others had the shrimp platter and they were great as well. Place has a bar for game watching if interested and plenty of dinner tables for guests. Recommended.
Taverna is one of my wife's favorite places to eat out. We actually live closer to the one in Newark but decided to venture out to the N. Wilmington location instead. This location is much more spacious and has a wonderful outdoor seating space with lots of beautiful flowers around the perimeter. I chose the Italian wedding soup as an appetizer, my wife got the artichokes. Both were prepared perfectly. For our main dishes, my wife got one of her all time favorite dishes the canelloni(which sadly wasn't available last year because of the pandemic) and I got the (not very)spicy shrimp and orzo. The shrimp were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice and a little char. We ended our meals with the Budini and the tiramisu. The tiramisu was one of the best we ever had. We would recommend visiting this N. Wilmington location for easier parking, better seating outside and just as amazing food.
New, clean environment, friendly service, amazing food. 10/10 recommended!! The chicken pizza not only tastes amazing, it smells good, too (thanks to the spinach, I think). The braised pork shank is more than impressive. It?s soft and flavorful. The Mediterranean salad is something good to start your dinner, and please don?t say no to the fresh peppers on your salads. The black peppers smelled so good that I could even smell it while wearing a mask. And we absolutely loved the chef market soup.
