Kyoto Japanese - Wilmington

Popped in for the bento special: an awesome go-to single meal option in Pike Creek. stay in for the chillaxxed ambiance and sports behind the bar. Went back for the Hamachi Kama; and as expected, it was 'last meal ' worthy.

I tried Kyoto for the first time recently and was very happy with the food. Fresh and artfully prepared. Ordered the VIP roll, Eagles roll and calamari roll. Shared the food with hot green tea and a glass of chardonnay. As we left the staff thanked us and waved. Great gem in a small shopping center.

This restaurant sparked my interest when I first noticed it on Groupon. The food looked appealing and I definitely knew it was worth a checkout. The Pad Thai was delicious and the portion was very generous. The Chicken Curry was spicy and inviting. For dessert I recommend the fried banana and ice cream. The restrooms were clean and there was a men’s and women’s. There is an option for takeout and you can make reservations on the website for specific times. We went late, around 9 PM and there wasn’t a need for a reservation. I will definitely be coming back to try more entree options!

Great sushi selection at reasonable prices. We got one chef special roll (the Blossom) and three regular rolls. All were fresh and delicious. We will definitely go back.
