El Camino Mexican Kitchen - Wilmington

Food was good. I am sad the chili is no longer on the menu. It was delicious and my favorite.

Overall ambiance of the restaurant is very nice. Our service was very slow even though patio was full, the inside did not have many tables and there was lack of service to all inside tables. We ordered chips and salsa and never received them, the pork tacos were all fat. Drinks took well over 30 minutes after ordering to receive them.

Not much Mexican about the atmosphere, more modern than anything. The apps were okay, I got the ribs which were totally inedible. The manager told me they were taking them off the menu soon because that is a common problem with them. I wish I had known that before I ordered my dinner. Service was iffy at most. I had to ask three times for coffee after dinner. It was finally brought with out cream and sugar which I asked for twice.Dietary restrictions: Probably a poor choice of restaurants if you have a cilantro allergy. Even the foods I was assured were cilantro-free had cilantro in them.

15 minutes for our server to acknowledge us. Ridiculous.
