Apple Annie's Bake Shop - Wilmington

The second time here are deserts really good and they have a great choice. A little at the top, but for the most part it is worth it. Customer service could be much better and definitely not what I expect from a mother and pop shop. The shop is small and well maintained. I will visit again, but if the customer service is still the same that will be my last time. I love to support small businesses, but poor customer service is a big shutdown.

Apple Annie’s serves delicious treats, and I love local support! What I most appreciate is their flexibility in customer service. They do their best to communicate thoroughly and quickly, especially to work with restrictions in a socially distant world. They stand before their strengths. And in my experience, if something does not meet expectations, they will do what they can to make it right. They appreciate their customers and local support and work hard to keep them happy. I think their prices are the same with grocery stores, but even if there was a marginal difference, I would continue to support them as a local business. And they certainly have much more on the game than a big chain. I recently placed a larger custom cookie order for an auto-dru baby shower and the cookies were delicious and individually wrapped, which is a time saving for me and reliability for the guests in these Covid times. Support this local bakery if you can, and you will notice that you both are heard and appreciated as a loyal customer.

The PERFECT CAKE for the 21st birthday! I wish I could give them 1000! Everything from there is delicious and this cake was no exception. The staff is superb and the food is Heavenly. You can't go wrong with Apple Annie!

Ordered a German chocolate cake over the phone and had it delivered the next day! It was absolutely delicious and presentation was beautiful! My new go-to bakery for sure. And the prices are great!
