Bidra med feedbackWe have always liked Jojo's Restaurant on the pier at Nedlands, WA. Today, it was time to return after an absence of over 12 months. It was our anniversary so we shared a table with two old friends.<br/ <br/ The moment we walked into the restaurant located over the water, we were greeted by friendly and professional staff. Our table was overlooking a sparkling Swan River, and the table setting delightful. From here the day simply got better and better.<br/ <br/ Our entree was a shared plate of mushrooms, grilled and garnished with olive oil, chilli, and garlic. Simple but absolutely stunning. We all were left wondering if we should decline a main course and just have more of this stunning dish.<br/ <br/ For a main course there was a gluten-free dish plus barramundi and two orders of spatchcock; a dish that was a bit new to me. The fish of course was beautifully presented and our friend said it was firm yet delicate and tasty. The spatchcock, was sensational. It was one of the best dishes I have had for years. Tender pieces, beautiful flavours. Even the side dish of fries was lovely.<br/ <br/ We had a bottle of Stella Belle Sav., Blanc to wash down our food.<br/ <br/ At every moment, the staff were there, with a minimum of fuss, to look after us. Knowledgable, professional, courteous and efficient.<br/ <br/ We ended up spending four hours at Jojo's until host Umberto offered us a glass of Lemoncello; probably in the hope we would then go home!! : . It was a very thoughtful gesture.<br/ <br/ As the president of the Perth-based Indonesia Institute, I dine-out a lot, both in Perth and internationally. This meal was absolutely memorable and Jojo's must be one of Australia's finest restaurants at a price that is very reasonable. An anniversary lunch that was superb!<br/ <br/ I cannot recommend Jojo's enough. Top class staff, food, location, wine, and organisation. <br/ <br/ Five star.
Great location on the water overlooking the Nedlands foreshore and Swan River. Enjoyed a main meal of rotisserie which was superb. Professional staff.
Perfection, food and service! Russian Oyster amazing. Barramundi was well cooked. Service friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the Swan River.
Jojo’s Cafe has been an institution in Perth. It was the place to go for important occasions like birthday lunches or dinners. I must admit the proliferation of new restaurants has seen me bypass golden oldies like Jojo’s. Time to rectify this wrong. A few months back two friends and I ventured along the jetty to the restaurant. First impressions were that nothing had changed but then I went looking for the entrance. I might admit it was a bit unnerving having to walk around a large barbeque hotplate to enter the restaurant. With no grand entrance it felt a bit like we were coming in the tradesman’s entrance.
Happens to come over the weekend. Nice place and good scenery. Only ordered simple ice coffee , flat white and brûlée. Price reasonable. Staff too polite, a plus. I enjoyed the relax atmosphere. Will recommend to my friends. <br/
