Nello's Pizza - Wilkes-Barre

$26 for 6 pieces of pizza and 6 garlic knots. The crust was good, the chicken ranch had sliced chicken patties and what tasted to be dollar store ranch. The pepperoni was far too salty.Wasn't even worth it, I'd rather go to Domino's or Little Caesars. The tables were dirty. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

I got to my hotel late, and googled best subs near me.... as I normally do when I'm away from home. Nello's was highly recommended so I figured I'd give it a try. They were closing soon and could have been 50/50 that I would get to order from here. I tried anyways. The gentleman that answered the phone was super nice and acted like it was no big deal that they were closing. He said, give me 5 minutes and it'll be ready. What!?! That's awesome! I ordered an Italian hoagie, and I have to say, it was one of the best I've had. Some places have great bread, or great lunch meat, or dressing. But Nellos had everything. I loved the bread, there was a perfect ratio of meat to veggies to bread, and the sub dressing was great. It was even lightly toasted, exactly how I like it. The hoagie by itself was 5 stars, the customer service was an additional 5 stars. My first ever 10 star review!

Love the staff!! Very friendly. Pizza is outrageous and the food is authentic.
