Dorfkeller - Wiler

The chef actually cooks here- not just microwave food. It's a charming traditional Tavern, complete with the local bar regulars, having a few jars after a long day up in the mountains. The food was fantastic even though it was not so busy. I had the Pork my wife had the mushroom ravioli. Good wine too. But you have to pay for it- not cheap. Recommended by most of the locals

Loved the schnitzel. No other Americans in sight. Great traditional German food, a bar for young locals, and family friendly (my six and eight year old kids were dancing to nineties music on the jukebox). A real hidden gem.

Ein kulinarischer Höhepunkt in einer gemütlichen Dorfbeiz.Nicht ganz einfach zu finden, aber die Suche lohnt sich.Zuerst ein Lachstartar, dann eine feine Kürbis-KokoscrèmeSuppe, ein gemischter Salat und als Hauptgang ein niedergegartes Rinderfilet. Selten ein so zartes Stück Rind gegessen.Abgerundet dann durch ein Sorbet mit einem Stückchen Kuchen und zwei Mousses. Sehr zu empfehlen

Het is altijd een goede ervaring om hier te eten bij Claudio. We hebben op deze zomeravond heerlijk buiten gegeten op het pleintje voor de Dorfkeller. Het diner was weer perfect. Heerlijke salades met huisgemaakte Franse dressing, aardappelkroketjes, frites en Zwitsers biologische Entrecote. Ook de kaasfondue is altijd aan te raden. De service was als vanouds gemoedelijk en professioneel. Weer heerlijk gegeten op deze zwoele zomeravond met een paar glaasjes Fendant.
