That was great! Excellent nut salad and meatloaf served in a different way! Beautifully remodeled, a visit is definitely recommended!
Great service , excellent quality. My wife came here as a child and great memories. We gave it a try tonight after the renovation and personally k have to say... Congratulations. We started with asparagus salad and the bauerteller.perfect. Then I had the Angus entrecot, perfect temperature as a desired and well seasoned. The service was just wonderful by the hand of Lenka. Always attentive and very friendly combined with profesionality. I will come back to continue the wine list they have , impressive.
Bad experience, fraudolent behaviour of the restaurant: We were a group of 12 persons (initially planned 16 but called the restaurant before in order to reduce the final number of people, due to some guests not coming). During orders, we asked the waiter if it was possible to have tap water. Answer was yes, therefore they brought us opened water bottles at the table. Finally, at billing time, the restaurant charges 9CHF per water bottle. They kept bringing OPENED bottles of water at the table, never opening a bottle in front of us, and never announcing that this would be charged 9CHF per bottle. This is fraudulent behaviour: Staff confirmed it was tap water when asked at first Staff kept bringing new bottles during the course of the dinner Staff never announced the cost until billing time, where we were asked for over 50CHF of water costs. Surprised, when I asked for clarifications about it to the owner, he became aggressive and extremely rude: Did not want to explain about these never announced costs of the “tap water” Asked us to pay for the 4 people that did not come calling them a “no show”, despite the fact that we called the restaurant in advance to inform about it. End of the story: we paid all that was asked by the owner regarding water costs, but felt robbed. More than that, the behaviour of the owner was simply ridiculous: clients are entitled to ask a simple question, without being aggressed. Avoid this restaurant and enjoy Switzerland!
