Am Kloster - Wienhausen

The Klostercafe is located on the grounds of the beautiful monastery of Viennahausen, especially the magnificently painted nunnery choir surrounded by small streams and a great garden, with old trees, an old mill, many flowering plants and flowers you will find some minutes of rest to escape the stressful everyday life. The cafe is operated by the life aid celle . In good weather, the cafe’s courtyard invites you to stay. The menu offers besides cakes, ice cream,pies, hearty e.g. liver cheese with potato salad, stirrer with bacon.... We ordered ourselves: Strawberry buttermilk cake biscuit with cream, buttermilk filling,seed with fresh strawberries delicious and refreshing convent plate 3 varieties of ice with fresh berry raspberries,bromberries, strawberries, blueberries,seedberries,seeds, cream and various waffles there was milk coffee with amaretto, all the milk coffee with amaretto In addition, the beautiful ambience of the monastery garden, we were down and down. The cafe was well visited and it was difficult to get a place, thank God made just a smaller group to go our luck now we can also understand why.
