Churn Burn - Wichita

We went in to churn and burn last night, and as always it was delightful. Anissa is always excellent at giving us recommendations. The Joyland decor reminds me of my childhood. Unfortunately last night we got to witness some customers treating the workers very unkindly, which was very disappointing. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other

Yum yum yum ice cream and coffee, what’s better than that

I try to support local businesses so for the past 2 years I’ve been purchasing gift cards from Churn and Burn to give out for the holidays. I purchased them online and went to pick up at the store. I was informed by the person behind the counter that 1. They don’t offer gift cards online ? and 2. They are out of them. I asked about a refund. She took my name and number and said the manager was supposed to be in at 2pm and would call me. Well, about 6 hours later I hadn’t heard anything so I called the store. I spoke to the manager and he said that it was going to be refunded. I guess what disappoints me is the lack of communication and courtesy. No one emailed or called to let me know my order wasn’t able to be fulfilled and then didn’t follow up after I stopped in to pick them up. No apologies for the miscommunication or anything. It shouldn’t be the customer doing all the work to give a place business.

We stop by Churn and Burn nearly every time we go through Wichita. Such good ice cream and their regular food is good too!
