I always enjoy a good sit-down meal here. The service is excellent always treated extraordinarily. The atmosphere at larkspur is really awesome. I had their special today, a trout fillet in a lemon buerre blanc served with mushroom risotto. The fish was beautifully done, and the sauce was just gorgeous. The true star of the plate, in my opinion, was the risotto. The seasoning was amazing, and the rice and mushrooms were both cooked to perfection. As a foodie, I find this gem in Wichita to be an exceptional restaurant. The service is professional and attentive. The menu is not too big, but has something for everyone. The attention to detail in the kitchen is fabulous. The food is spectacular. We had the Pistachio Chicken and the Pork Chops, two house special recipes that did not disappoint! Service was excellent. Food was very good, I had almond encrusted trout. The creme brulee was also very good.
