Tacos La Wera - Whittier

For a Mexican food joint this place is expensive and the burrito was small as hell it was insulting and you feel bad for spending money on it. I suggest you go to a real Mexican place for normal pricing. They also have a fee for everything. Better have cash or it’s 75 cents extra. And no fountain drinks. 1.50 bottles are 2.50. No wonder this place was empty during lunch hour.

Love it here we go there so often they remember our family's orders. Very friendly staff and always smiling. Its a very welcoming place to be and get the family together. Love it!

Yummy tacos. I ate the tacos de vapor, one with asada, another cachete, and lastly chivo. Meat was so tender and great taste. Oh delicious hot sauces.

Ordered carne asada because I'm careful to order any meat too exotic. I ordered a burrito. It's like something I would have made at home. Very authentic Mexican with the beans (en caldo) not weird canned refried beans. The rice was very nice, fluffy. The meat was good and authentic onions and cilantro. So, so far good. I tried the salsa it was the hottest I've ever tried. Pretty delicious. Like I said, I don't order cheeks or brains or stuff like that. I stick to basics and the meat was good. So, thumbs up

Taco Tuesday. Each taco is $1.45 on May 2023. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos. 4 tacos for under $10! The green sauce is good. The orange sauce is hot and delicious. Definitely need to order the different menu items next time.
