Bidra med feedbackEvery time we make a reservation for 5 they sit us at a round table in the bar area. If I wanted to go to the bar I would sit at the bar. I must of had 50 or more people go by my chair and table. Then on top of that you have the bar patrons who are enjoying the bar and cocktails along with them hoot and hollering along to the games on the tv and taking tequila shots. Not only do they have bar stools around the bar which are all full and people standing around the bar waiting for there reservations or a seat to open. I wish they didn't use these seats as normal dining tables unless you don't care where you sit. This kind of dinner is a treat for us and not a normal for my family. The prices keep going higher and higher and eventually it will be out of our price range all together. We used to frequent the Whittier location more often but it seems to be getting more expensive and more of a locals pub.
Always please at this restaurant, and our service was excellent, Nina R #1017 was polite, kind, and always checked on us, which I appreciate. Also took her time to answer my questions.
Really good food and comfortable environment. Service was nice. Just didn't enjoy the actual table we received...it was 1/2 booth, 1/2 table. I requested a proper table and chairs but settled for what was given. Will not do that again.
We ordered two medium rare prime rib dinners. After waiting for over half hour, they came beyond well done. We told the waitress and she told us that is all what they have left. She did ask if we want to get something else. We said no since we didn't want other people to wait for another 30 minutes. We also ordered the salmon and it was also overcooked. After finishing the main course, we have to wait 15 minutes for desert. The mountain fudge cake was good!
The server was rude, served us the wrong order. When my husband question her why the steak is small this time (we always order the same item), her reply “IT'S CORRECT SIZE, THEY WEIGHED IT MAYBE BECAUSE IT HAS MORE FATS” and left immediately ignoring my husband who was handing her the used side plates. My husband also ordered another glass of wine which was never served. She came back but didn't even look at my husband but instead asked my son in law if he needs anything else. She never came to ask how's our meal. Second time she came back, she ignored again my husband and all of us noticed her being hostile towards my husband. When my daughter asked for the bill, my husband told the server, that his second glass of wine was not served and her reply was “IT'S WAITING FOR YOU AT THE BAR”. The worst part is when we got the bill, we were overcharged by 1 prime rib (we only ordered 2 but she charged us 3) and a glass of wine that was never served. When we question the bill she made a new one and took the wrong one and threw it. My husband went to speak to the Manager who was nice enough to apologize and offer a discount (which my husband told him that we're not asking for discount) but the Manager made an excuse that they were busy and I even heard him saying “nobody's perfect”. We always come to this particular branch since we always get good service and food, but this night's experience ruined our Mother's Day celebration.
