Salt Restaurant Bar - Whitianga

Great food. We had the specials no idea what the fish was but the waiter’s description was spot on. Service was friendly and relaxed. We had to book ahead. Other restaurants would squeeze in more covers so nice to see they hadn’t. Good selection of reasonably priced wine.

Friendly and attentive service. Limited seating and picks up at peak times. Tuna was seared perfectly and accompanied quinoa veggies salad underneath complemented well. The special cold platter was fresh and as a whole plate delicious. A seafood only one meat dish restaurant and all produce was fresh and simple. For the dessert the Panna Cotta is a must!

It’s not a fancy 5 star but I’d say it’s the best in town. Good value for money that’s for sure. Catch of the day was fresh and nicely cooked. And I loved my pale ale. Really helped after a long day driving!

Not sure scallops go with rosemary. Other than that, everything I cool.

Friendly local restaurant with comfort atmosphere. Foods served with decent price and don't forget to try local beer.
