Bidra med feedbackYour Szechuan braided beef is incredible. I ask for additional spices and thinner noodles. The meat is incredibly delicate.
Wonton soup is good. Szechwan Beef and Prowns are simply common, portion is decent, although most are vegetables. If you want authentic Chinese food, you can be disappointed.
I've been a fan of this restaurant since it opened and consider it one of Yukon’s best-kept secrets. The food is delicious and comes in generous portions. The ingredients and flavors are traditional; this is not just a typical Chinese restaurant, but a genuinely authentic dining experience. In other cities, I often find that it takes ages to be seated at places serving this level of quality, but at Panda Panda, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is never overcrowded. I highly recommend everything on their menu—10/10!
The restaurant is small and offers Chinese food that is adapted to Canadian tastes. The flavors are quite different and not spicy enough for those used to authentic Asian cuisine. As someone who enjoys Chinese food, it was sufficient for my hunger, but those looking for genuine Chinese flavors may be disappointed, as the dishes cater more to Western palates. Most of the beef served is not halal, but the chicken wonton soup is a great choice for chilly days.
Your noodles are truly delicious! The 22 Taiwanese braided beef noodles and the 23 Sichuan noodles are almost the same. The only difference is that you lack a bit of sharpness in flavor. This doesn’t apply to the Taiwanese beef noodles, as they aren’t meant to be lacking in that regard. Even though it’s not the most authentic Taiwanese beef noodle, it still tastes fantastic!
