Enrik's Restaurant - Whitehorse

We went there to breakfast on Saturday morning. there were 5 or 6 employees we could see. the restaurant was empty except our group of 20 children and parents. we had booked in advance. the personal was well managed, but the service was appalling. most of us have ordered breakfast and a drink. after an hour and half an hour had received 1 person breakfast. most of us had our drinks. at 1 hour 45 minutes my cold toast arrived, at 2 hours we paid and left. hungry and disappointed would be an understatement. we've been there twice, but never again.

For Italian meals at a large degree, this is a rather comfortable place near the blackburn station. decor is warm and comfortable the meals were more reasonable standard, a good size and the prices were reasonable

Enriks was my favorite restaurant. to eat and eat. but recently I was on Thursday for lunch and dinner on Friday, where both males were part of my order was incomplete, without apology. that was personal. love the band, but it is too loud for beautiful ambiente. friends went there for Wednesday lunch their meals were cold, workers were also rude. I am so disappointed

Impressed by the friendly warm greeting, fuss free service and excellent eating. we started tasting, excellent worth. my wife had a huh breast packed in prosciutto, I chose a medium rare porterhouse steak, very nicely flavored and delicate.I had a bottle of very good quality wein and was amazed at the small brand about the retail price. overall excellent and highly recommended.

I reviewed this popular restaurant several years ago and gave it happily four stars. I raved about a delicious steak and my wife's yummy dish. This time I once again had a porterhouse steak hoping for similar culinary experience but was disappointed. Just an ordinary...steak, not even tender nad touch on the well done side although when ordering I emphasised medium rare. For $34.90 you expect a decent cut. My wife's dish, House-made pan fried gnocchi, was again very good. The place was extremely noisy! It was noisy to such a degree that we were unable to hold conversation and therefore left as soon as we finished our meals. Yes, we were there on a Friday and it is the busiest time, but still, the noise contributed significantly to us not enjoying the afternoon. So, perhaps it is time now to explore some other eating places in East Melbourne.
