Tavern 51 - Whitehall

Ordered takeout and Karen and bartender were not friendly. While waiting for my to go order, I asked for a drink and the bartender decided not to take my order and ignored me. Not sure why they are in business since they do not show any appreciation, manners, or seem to enjoy working with public.

This is a great neighborhood bar with really good food. I have visited a few times with a friend and each time we have received good service and yummy food. It's a nice place to hang with friends. They were cash only on our last visit.

I honestly don't have a whole lot to say other than the fact that I've never gotten a beer that fast. We didn't order any food so I can't speak on that and there weren't many people in there because everyone was already drinking at the tailgate. Staff was cool and the drinks were cold! Sounds like a winner to me.

I was there with friends and they were busy. Took a while to get our drink orders in but everything went great. We had a table of 9 people and our server was busy but pleasant and efficient. Everyone ordered something different and some even shared dishes since they looked so good. Chicken Parm with pasta was my choice and it was great. The atmosphere of a neighborhood place delighted us. We agreed to return as a group and the owner even came out to thank us for our patronage. You don't see that very often!!

Good 8oz Burgers. Great when you really want meat. Fantastic pierogies. The biggest surprise is that the potato chips were not greasy. My wife suspects they're air fried. Nicely seasoned and we loved them.
