Liberty Subs & Donairs - Whitecourt

I just had lunch here and it was very good. The service was pleasant and the people behind the counter were careful to wear those clear plastic gloves when they were working with food. One caution though; Google maps took us on a back road and thought Liberty was in the bush. They're actually right next to the highway that goes through town on the north side. I recommend Liberty for lunch. Support local.

The other reviews are right! This is a great little gem. Love to support a non-chain whenever possible this will definitely be added to my list of places to stop when passing through. The Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap was fantastic! Very clean inside very friendly staff.

Best sweet sauce Donairs. This location has Taco time as well in-restaurant. Not a fan of taco's or burritos but Deluxe Mexi-fries are great

What a hidden gem, and I don't say that lightly as most hidden gems don't blow my mind! This unassuming joint with forgettable decor an unassuming, casual set up legitimately has the BEST donairs I have ever had in Alberta, including Calgary! This is a walk up, pay up front self serve sort of joint, very reasonably priced, with the most amazing donairs a man could ask for. The flavour balance was spectacular the donair meat freshly shaved and prepared, fresh veggies. Here's the extra part fantastic presentation, this donair looked bomb and expert wrapping to minimize the mess and to optimize ease of eating. Never would I have thought that my favourite donair place would be in Whitecourt, but alas, turns out there are surprises in every corner. I have no doubt I will be a regular here, though my waistline may have a different opinion.

Looks are a bit deceiving! From outside this place doesn't look like much. Once inside you'll find it's clean, modern, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The menu options are vast and the food is absolutely delicious. It feels like a family business in here and we loved it. Big thumbs up from us!
