Bidra med feedbackHands down one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The torta is magnificent a perfect balance of spicy and savory and sweet, the tenderness of the cochinita melding with the sauces, veggies and pillowy bread for more an experience than a mere sandwich. I ate it Saturday morning and immediately could have eaten a second if I'd had room. Instead, I had to settle for going back Sunday as well. The sausage and huevos ahogados were also phenomenal, the grapefruit juice and
It isn?t the typical Mexican food but more like Fusion Mexican. Everything we ordered was tasty. We shared lamb, pork and fish tacos. Watermelon Salad for a starter since we weren?t very hungry. We had a choice to Bo eat burgers but so glad we tried this place. It was a weekday but very crowded. If you want indoor dining, I Recommend reservation so you don?t have to wait 30 min in outside table. Friendly and relaxed service.
This off-the-beaten-track place is popular for a reason--it has really good food beverages. There might be a wait, but it 's worth it. For it 's location, we found it to be on the pricey side (what isn 't these days), but portion sizes are not skimpy. Service ranged from 'cool aloof ' to 'downright warm welcoming; ' all of it was definitely efficient. Highly recommend if you 're in the mood for good Mexican-ish fare.
This seems to be an Oaxaca based restaurant. The food is champ! I ordered yuca fries with a side of the pumpkin seed dip and guacamole. The fries also came with 2 other dips that were soo good, too! I also had pescado asado tacos. Everything was amazingly delicious and tasteful!
I was hesitant on coming to this restaurant my very first try, mainly because of price point. I?m so glad that I decided not to let the price stop me, as these are the best tacos that I have ever had. The guacamole is delicious, and don?t forget your side of beans and rice. Try a Quesadilla, they are to die for Yum!
