Coriander Modern Indian - White Plains

Although the food was delicious, the overall dining experience was disappointing enough to make me hesitant about returning. We had to wait for extended periods of time, approximately 20-30 minutes, for our orders to be taken, for our food to arrive, for our plates to be cleared, and for the bill. In total, we spent 2 1/2 hours there due to the slow and inadequate service. Despite being informed that there were new staff working that night, it is no justification for such poor service.

Great service from Sam and food was even better. Very helpful finish was his magic Indian tea which took care of one of the guests.

The food here was outstanding. The mulligatawny soup was the best we had ever had; in fact, my husband said it was the best SOUP he ever had! The more traditional dishes were really delicious. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken saag, chicken vindaloo, and chicken biryani. The only dish that was missing something was the tandoori salmon. It was cooked well, but a little fishy. I put some of the saag sauce on it, which worked very well. The garlic naan was puffy perfection. The service could use some improvement. Our server was very nice, but he didn’t always understand what we were asking for. The owner, Sam, spent a lot of time talking to us about his passion for cooking, and they were kind enough to bring my son some cake for his birthday. We will definitely be back!

Really good food. Kind of fusion Indian. Lots of traditional dishes but creative ones as well. Nice staff.

We love this restaurant! The food is delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. The owner is always so warm and inviting. She makes you feel you have come to her own home for a meal.
