Whitby Station

I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought I would be getting your standard diner type experience, but it was very nicely appointed on the inside, and there's a chef in the back making magic! I had waffles and fried chicken homemade with subtle flavours of maple and cinnamon. The mashed potatoes and veggies were a surprise pairing and also delicious. I loved that the chef came out to say hi and gave the kids little pots of Nutella to take with them. We'll go back and I'm sending others. The kid's meal was a very generous portion and the poutine that my nephew had was also very tasty!

Flavourful and tasty food! Came here 2 days in a row. Yesterday had the fish and chips, chicken and waffles, kids mac n cheese and creme brûlée. Fish and chips were so good, we had to come back again today for the special. Today, we had the fish and chips, wings and pulled pork sandwich. Generous servings, served hot and delicious! 2 large pieces of haddock, cooked perfectly with a crunchy batter. Coleslaw was delish as well. Ordered 1 with poutine and 1 with regular fries, both great! Ordered onion rings with the pulled pork. My husband enjoyed the pulled pork but did ask for extra sauce; kids devoured the onion rings. Chicken and waffles were tasty: chicken was well cooked and seasoned, 1/2 waffle was lovely and mashed potatoes were so flavourful and veggies served with it were yummy too, just enough bite left in them. Wings were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, would also ask for more sauce. Mac n cheese is homemade, with real cheese, my daughter loved it. Creme brûlée was delish! Real vanilla bean throughout, so flavourful and smooth. Staff are friendly and helpful. You can see the attention to detail they take regarding the taste, quality of food, presentation and service here. Our kids received little jars of Nutella, which they were so excited about. Would love to come back and try the bennies and breakfast items, they sounds delish as well! Wishing Whitby Station much success, what a lovely addition to the neighbourhood!

Took my family here earlier this week. There's something for everyone on their huge menu, and everything we ordered was fantastic. The chef came out to see how our meal was. We'll be back! Can't wait to try other items, and breakfast.

Food was so yummy !! Taste homemade not frozen my daughter and I had lunch here. Great service to very friendly

The food here is pretty good. I found the home fries a little soft...i like a little more crisp, but thats a personal preference i guess. Prices seemed on the high side, with breakfast for three including a kids pancake coming to almost $50. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. I found it odd that the Steak and Cheddar omelette lists swiss cheese as an ingredient? Service was good and prompt. Meat lover's omelette was very full.
