The Tap & Tankard - Whitby

I always love being at The Tap Tankard! The staff is amazing, the food is the best, and they offer a great selection of drinks. This place is definitely the top spot to be in Durham!

The staff and atmosphere are delightful and fun. They offer a wide selection of popular beers on tap, as well as unique varieties that may become your new favorite. The music adds to the awesome experience.

The lobster festival on July 25th was fantastic! The food, service, and the chef and his staff were very accommodating. I have also been there for lunch and the meals are always delicious and well presented. A big shoutout to all the employees there. We will definitely be returning.

This is the worst place in the town of Whitby. Especially the security is arrogant. They simply want to make money out of you. We were sitting inside with our family and went outside for a moment, and while coming back, the security asked us to pay money to get inside the pub. Doesn’t make sense at all but I don’t think we can put sense inside their brains. Weird place! Don’t even try this place!

Great atmosphere, a good selection of food with classic pub fare, sometimes with a nice twist. I had their Brussels sprouts appetizer which was delicious, but it was hard to choose from so many great options! The food was high quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. Will definitely return!
